How a shift works

The official seven-part loop, condensed into the six decisions that matter during play.

    Prep

    Assign stations and choose optional order channels.

  2. 02
    Serve

    Enter tickets, cook exact recipes, and hit quota.

  3. 03
    Overtime

    Stay for a larger pot while breakdowns accelerate.

  4. 04
    Clock out

    End service and trigger the closing routine.

  5. 05
    Closeout

    Finish duties while Asset Joy is awake.

  6. 06
    Escape

    Reach the hatch alive to receive your share.

Stability

A 0-100 meter that drains during work. Correct orders restore it; mistakes remove it.

Quota

Meeting quota starts overtime. It does not bank the run or end the shift.

Asset Joy

Joy sleeps during service and wakes when the crew clocks out.

Payout

Calculated at escape and split only among surviving players.

Contracts

From round two, choose one of two modifiers that stack through the run.

Voice

Speech can trigger incantations, penalties, or attract Joy during a hunt.
